Team Chicaniño

 

Harjit has done it all - teaching pre-school and pre-primary children, training staff, managing a centre and developing curriculum. With a Masters degree in Sociology from Mumbai University coupled with 18 years+ with Kangaroo Kids and The Little Company, Harjit is now our Centre Development Officer.

 

Sushmita has spent the last 15 years perfecting the art of working with children especially in the age group of 6 months to 1.5 years. Her attention to detail and intuition helps us everyday in ensuring that everyone who works at ChicaNiño follows her footsteps. Having spent 8 years with The Little Company, she is now our Centre Development Manager - People.

 

We are fortunate to be guided and mentored by some of the best minds in education and business. The following people provide us the much needed inspiration through thick and thin. Vibhuti is a trained birth - 6 Montessori teacher and has worked with children over the past 8 years across Hong Kong and India. Gita is a trained 3 - 6 Montessori teacher and currently manages a pre-primary and pre-school setup for over 400 children in Bengaluru. She has over 18 years of experience working across India, Hong Kong and the US. Sudhir is a career investment banker with more than 25 years of experience. He has helped set up Investec's India operations. 

 

Mohit wanted to become an i-banker. He figured that an SRCC-IIM combination should get him there. 11 years working with Indian and foreign banks, he found his calling elsewhere. Beginning with weekend math tuitions to underprivileged children, he is now the co-founder of ChicaNiño.

 

Sujay wanted to become a financing professional. He figured that an IIT-IIM combination should get him there. 11 years later (working with an MNC and a startup venture), parenthood provided much needed inspiration for co-founding ChicaNiño with Mohit.
